Logical Data Recovery
Logical data failure is where the hardware works but the file system doesn’t. Such as;
- Accidental Deleted Files
- Mistakenly formatted a drive or partition.
With a healthy 1 TB HDD, a full image reads in about 4 hours. Most standard file recovery jobs finish in 3 – 5 business days. May take longer, I will keep you updated.
Yes, you will need to supply a second drive for the data. A blank drive is highly recommended. If not possible, make sure you label which drive needs the data recovering from.
Not at this time! I’m only working on logical recovery first, then may expand into head swap jobs.
Recovering even one file usually requires the same diagnostic, repair, and extraction process as recovering the entire drive. It’s very complex.
I always attempt to recover all available data on the drive. Because of that, the pricing reflects the work involved rather than the number of files retrieved.
Payment is due when the recovery is complete, before shipping or pickup/drop-off. You do not need to provide payment to start the data recovery process.
